Job Shadow
I job shadow a person who is currently in the position of one of my interest careers. Having that opportunity to job shadow a Nurse's Assistant was great. Her name is Melissa. Melissa is current working in family health care network in Visalia. The job shadow was on the 27 it was a Saturday morning. Helping patients with their needs and learning to chart after. I felt confident right away thanks to my tutor, she answered all the questions very well.
In the job shadow I was happy that I was part of helping her with her assigned patients. I helped chart with Melissa, she was really nice and made me feel comfortable around her. I was honestly really nervous at first. I got to feed a patient she offered so i took the opportunity.
I learned a lot of stuff, in fact I didn’t know that they do a lot of work. They work a lot with kids. Something I did not like was that they walk a lot up and down everywhere. I learned that keeping files safe and personal is important. I really like how on holidays they do nice stuff for their patients. I still think this job is right for me because seeing a smile on peoples faces made me really happy. I would consider anybody to do a job shadow on a nurse's assistant because I honestly loved. I can't wait to start working as a nurse's assistant.
